JBS / LEMO Dawn Theme — Notes & Decisions

Tagline

  • "Official LEMO Agent" (no same-day dispatch, no Lane Cove)
  • Top-level: Series (B, K, M, F, V, etc.)
  • Within each series, filter by:
  • Connector type (cable plug, cable socket, blanking cap, etc.)
  • Pin count
  • Shell size
  • IP rating
  • ~6000 products total, all use the same product template

Tag Convention

  • Prefix-based tags for filter groups:
  • type_cable-plug, type_cable-socket, type_blanking-cap
  • pin_2, pin_3, pin_4, pin_7
  • shell_0, shell_1, shell_2
  • ip_50, ip_66
  • Theme filter sidebar groups tags under custom headings per prefix

Product Page

  • No separate Specs tab — import tool merges specs into Body HTML
  • Blanking caps share the same template for now; may need stripped-down variant later

Cart & Shipping

  • Standard Dawn cart — no customisation needed
  • Weight-based shipping set up in Shopify admin (not theme)
  • No cart notes, no quantity breaks, no shipping estimator needed day one

Images

  • Product images: FGG_1B_307_CLAD62.webp, EGG_0B_309_CLL.webp (existing examples)
  • Need consistent naming convention for remaining ~6000 product images
  • Hero image: lemo-product-portfolio.png
  • Logo: logo-medium.png
  • Use Dawn's built-in related-products section (pulls from same collection)
  • Blanking caps may need a tag-based custom query once product codes are mapped

SEO

  • Automate title/description patterns via import tool
