Panastore Sub-Shop¶

Run a Panavision-branded demo page on the LEMO test store (lemo-test / John Barry Group), without affecting the rest of the site's look. Demo only — no products, no collection, no nav link yet (home link comes later). User shows it to management via URL.

Status¶

DONE — preview ready (2026-09-08). Working copy pushed to a new unpublished theme "Panastore Preview" (theme id 200998158417). Live store untouched. User decides on go/no-go for publishing.

1. Colour scheme — page-scoped¶

Sections use a color_scheme setting (e.g. multicolumn).
Added scheme-6 (light, Panavision) and scheme-7 (dark band, Panavision) to BOTH current.color_schemes and presets.Default.color_schemes in config/settings_data.json.

Palette source: https://www.panavision.com/panastore (CSS vars --color-red: #E00026, --color-black: #202020, text #272E31). Panavision has no gold/amber in their branding.

2. Logo override — page-scoped via liquid¶

sections/header.liquid gains a page_logo assign + panastore_mode flag, active only when template.suffix == 'panastore-stock'.
New header section setting panastore_logo (image_picker). If blank, falls back to shipped asset assets/panastore-logo.png (white PV logo, converted from /home/dini/Downloads/pv_corporate_logo_white.svg).
Header wrapper also gets class color-scheme-7 when on that template (dark header band).
All other pages render exactly as before (logic verified in diff).
JSON-LD logo intentionally left as global settings.logo.

3. Page template¶

templates/page.panastore-stock.json: rich-text dark hero ("PANASTORE" / PANAVISION caption) in scheme-7 + multicolumn grid (Cameras / Lenses / Support / Accessories placeholders, no links) in scheme-6 + main-page re-enabled.
Removed the merch tiles / S-series collection links that live store had.

Constraint: live theme blocks API writes¶

API writes to the live theme are blocked. Process used here: edit local dawn-theme copy → shopify theme push --unpublished --theme "Panastore Preview". Publish only when user approves.
